Frequent visitors to the airport will be well aware of the planning required to make a trip run smoothly. However, if you don’t fly that often or you haven’t flown from Durham Tees Valley before, you may find the following advice useful.
Check out your check-in
Start planning your trip by finding out from your travel agent or airline when you need to arrive. Our check-in times vary from three hours to 40 minutes before departure depending on which airline you’re travelling with, although we’d always recommend that you arrive at least two hours before you need to board.
Expect the unexpected
Whether you’re traveling to us by car, bus or train you should make sure you build in a bit of extra time to cover delays.
